Xi Jinping is both a Stalin and a Hitler in the making. In China, the repression in Xinjiang and elsewhere in the country can be said to be Stalin-like behavior. Under Xi Jinping, China has already committed Hitler's Nazi Germany-like crimes (annexation of Czechoslovakia and then Poland) by grabbing the entire South China Sea and now land in Ladakh from India. Hence, the world powers will be in their rights to declared a war against it. In 2016, the Philippines already won a case against China against Nine-Dash-Line in arbitral tribunal constituted under Annex VII to the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea.
The 21st Century US needs to understand that it is economically weaker than the 20th Century US. Only China, and no other country, has the capability to replace the US as the lone superpower. The US alone cannot win a decisive war against China as the US cannot land hundreds of thousands of troops on Chinese lands. Hence it needs help. Yes India, Japan and Vietnam can fight along with the US against China but if Russia comes from the north it will be a decisive victory against China.
Within a decade China will take over Far East Russia in the same way as it has grabbed the entire South China Sea. Russia, too, will not like to have a superpower Communist China as its neighbor. Just few days ago, the Russian embassy in China has been pilloried on social media by Chinese diplomats, journalists, and internet users after it held a celebration of the founding of Vladivostok – because it is on land that used to be part of China (Why Russia’s Vladivostok celebration prompted a nationalist backlash in China, South China Morning Post, July 2, 2020). In the 1960s, the German Sinologist Klaus Mehnert asked young Chinese who had grown up in Mao’s China what they had been taught about Vladivostok: ‘Almost all of them replied that they had been taught that the place [i.e. Vladivostok] had been called Haishenwei “before the Russians took it away.” (Russian Policy Towards China and Japan: The El'tsin and Putin Periods, Natasha Kuhrt, Routledge, London & New York, p 43, 2007).
Russia is nowhere near what the Soviet Union was. Hence it is advisable for the US to take the help of Russia to dismember China. In fact, the US should not have intervened in Ukraine at all – it is not only my opinion, but of Professor John Mearsheimer also. As per him, the responsibility for the Russian intervention in Ukraine in 2014, including its annexation of Crimea, lies with the U.S. and the European Union (EU) member state allies (Why the Ukraine Crisis Is the West’s Fault, The Liberal Delusions That Provoked Putin, John Mearsheimer, Foreign Affairs, September/October 2014). Professor Mearsheimer is an American political scientist and international relations scholar and the R. Wendell Harrison Distinguished Service Professor at the University of Chicago, US.
The US needs to make amend with Russia by withdrawing all the sanctions. Apart from this it should allow Russia to have both Ukraine and Belarus in its sphere of influence, but the US will have its army in Western Europe to guard against any future attempt by Russia. This will surely make Mr. Putin attack China from the north, India will attack from the south and the US, Vietnam, Taiwan and Japan from the east. Mr. Putin would like to dismember China into several countries, may be in to Tibet, Hong Kong, Inner Mongolia, Xianjing, to leave a democratic China (or maybe into several countries).
The US economy is a very dire condition. It is urgent that the above takes place before something really bad happens with the US economy. Otherwise, it will be too late (i.e. if the US economy collapses) and Communist China will be unstoppable.
There is the danger of a nuclear war as both China and Pakistan would try to use nuclear bombs especially against Japan, India and the US. But if they will drop even a couple of nuclear bombs, the Allied Powers (countries like Russia, US, UK, India, Japan, India, France, Japan, and Vietnam), might drop 40 to 50 nuclear bombs on them which would end the war. World War II saw the death of 70 to 85 million and hence we can assume similar deaths. If China takes over as a lone superpower we may see many more deaths as Xi Jinping is turning out to be another Stalin and Hitler. To minimize the causalities, within a few hours of the war, the Allied Powers would attempt to take out the majority of delivery vehicles of nuclear bombs of China and Pakistan.
