The Hon'ble Justices
Supreme Court of India

Subject: Request for taking Suo Moto action to correct Freedom Struggle History in NCERT books and UGC recommended curriculum because of corruption of India’s Freedom Struggle history by the “court” historians of Nehru-Gandhi dynasty which ruled in India for 60+ years
Respected Hon’ble Justices,
I was selected in the Indian Administrative Service 1985 batch and briefly went through its training at the LBSNNA, Mussoorie where I resigned from IAS and came to the US for a PhD in engineering at The Pennsylvania State University. Due to excellent research work, my PhD advisor, Professor Dr SK Kurtz allowed me to defend my PhD thesis in just two and a half years without having a master’s degree at that time. I did not have a master’s degree even from India. But when I started working in software sector in US, I obtained an MS in Computer Science from a US university, 10 years after getting the PhD. I am US citizen and I am living in US for last 32 years.
I am the author of six books on variety of subjects like international affairs, economics, history, science and spirituality. A few months ago, I published the book Gandhi, an Obstacle for the Freedom of India, Brought Radical Mullahs into Mainstream Politics Which Finally Led to Partition of India Subhas Chandra Bose, Not Gandhi and Congress Party, Gave Independence to India (461 pages, 778 Endnotes, Munshiram Manoharlal Publishers Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi, 2021). I am sending you the same along with this letter.
I would like to express the following points:
1. As you will see in this book, India’s freedom history, which we read in history books for last 70+ years, is completely corrupted and wrong.
2. In fact, British PM Clement Attlee, who decided to grant independence to us, himself said that Gandhi’s influence upon the British decision to quit India was minimal and the principal reason for leaving India was the erosion of loyalty to the British Crown among the Indian army and navy personnel as a result of the military activities of Netaji [Subhas Chandra Bose] (Subhas Chandra Bose, The Indian National Army, and The War of India’s Liberation, Ranjan Borra, Journal of Historical Review, Vol. 20 (2001), No. 1, reference 46). In my book, I have proved Mr. Attlee’s statement with massive British Government declassified documents which are available publicly.
3. You will be shocked to read my book as it will give you a completely different picture of freedom movement history.
4. In my book, you will see that Mohandas Karam Chand Gandhi was not the person whom we about read in the conventional literature, written by the “court” historians of Nehru-Gandhi dynasty which ruled, either directly or by proxy, in India for nearly 60 years.
5. We 130 crore Indians have been worshipping a false messiah MK Gandhi for last 80-90 years.
6. All the crucial evidences are based on British Government declassified documents which are publicly available.
7. In my book, there are 778 endnotes and all of them are from well-established sources.
8. Throughout his stay in South Africa, MK Gandhi actually supported the British Empire (The South African Gandhi, Stretcher-Bearer of Empire, Ashwin Desai and Goolam Vahed, Stanford University Press, 2015). MK Gandhi was same in India. He was playing the games whose rules were set by the British Raj.
9. Even in 1946, MK Gandhi was insisting on non-violence movement to obtain independence after getting instructions from Viceroy and the British Government (The Transfer of Power 1942-7, Vol. VI The Post-War Phase: New Moves by the Labour Government 1 August 1945-22 March 1946, Nicholas Mansergh and Penderel Moon, Her Majesty’s Stationery Office, London, 1976). British Raj could have easily infiltrated bad elements in his movement to create violence, leading him to withdraw the movement.
10. As per British Govt declassified papers, Subhas Chandra Bose and his Indian National Army were a disaster at battlefield but once they surrendered at the end of World War II, they forced Britain to leave India within just four months by creating a threat of massive Indian Army mutiny by poisoning the mind of “native Indians” among the (British) Indian Army [before whom they surrendered in East Asia], once they came to know how INA fought at Burma-Imphal border and also about fully functioning Azad Hind Government of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose (Oct 1943-Aug 1945) which had its own bank and currency also.
11. As you will see in my book, without Subhas Chandra Bose, India would not have had independence till Gandhi would have been alive because he was against independence.
12. None of MK Gandh’s movements, except the 1942 Quit India Movement, was for independence. His 1942 Quit India resolution was more pro-Japanese Empire resolution than for independence as per his hand-written papers, seized in the British Raj police raid at the Congress party office (as per British Government declassified documents at British Government website whose link is there in my book). In mid-1942, MK Gandhi thought that Germany and Japan would win World War II and hence he went for 1942 Quit India Movement – please read Chapter 30 in my book which is based on British Government declassified documents.
13. In India, criticizing MK Gandhi is considered as heresy as he is considered nearly as a god. Hence under the Modi administration or any government, institutions like NCERT (National Council of Educational Research and Training) and UGC cannot print or recommend any book critical of MK Gandhi.
Therefore, I would like to request you to kindly to take Suo Moto action on this issue and ask institutions like NCERT, UGC and ICHR (Indian Council on Historical Research) to re-write the Freedom Struggle history, may be by taking the help of neutral historians from international institutions and also to re-evaluate the role of Subhas Chandra Bose and MK Gandhi in the light of my new book on this topic to correct the wrong which has been done to work which the great freedom fighter Subhas Chandra Bose did for his country. As the British PM Clement Attlee said, Gandhi and his team had no role in our independence at all but they stole the credit from Subhas Chandra Bose.
Sincerely yours
Susmit Kumar

Note: During 2016-18, I wrote a series of articles on Indian, US, Chinese and global economies which forced PM Modi to drastically change his economic policies as I was able to prove that US-based Indian origin economists like Raghuram Rajan, Arvind Panagariya and Arvind Subramanian, were modern-day Bhisma Pitamah of Mahabharat whose ultimate allegiance is to the US and not to India and they were implementing in India the disastrous US economic theory called Reaganomics which has not only bankrupted the US, but also created the Frankenstein China and sold the US to it. Bhisma Pitamah was a very honest person, but had allegiance to the throne of Hastinapura. Hence in the Mahabharat war, he fought on behalf of Kauravas, who were ruling Hastinapura, against the righteous Pandavas despite knowing that the Kauravas were evil and doing injustice to Pandavas. In early 2018, I extended those articles to the book India is a Country, not a Company - How Anglo-US 'Imported' Economists Misled and Mismanaged the Indian Economy (Munshiram Manoharlal Publishers Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi, 212 Pages, 2018) which has 66 charts and tables, each created from scratch, to analyze global economic data. It is mainly because of my two years efforts that all three top economic posts in the PM Modi administration, namely RBI Governor (ex-IAS), Niti Aayog Chief (Dr Rajiv Kumar has never worked in US) and Chief Economic Advisor (has a US PhD, but was working in an Indian university for last 10+ years), are being held by economists who have extensive Indian experience and allegiance to India.
When in March 2018, I gave a talk on my 2018 economics book at Vivekananda International Foundation, New Delhi, its director, Dr Arvind Gupta introduced me by saying, “Sometimes an outsider can analyze data better than experts in the field.” He said so because I do not have any credentials in economics at all as I have a PhD in engineering and I have been working in software industry in the US for last nearly 3 decades.
